Le collectif Ding a demandé à Florence de Mecquenem, directrice du BO, ce qu’était pour elle, le génie du lieu. L’eau a t-elle répondu. «Elle s’est logée dans les interstices et les fissures du bâtiment pendant des années. Du temps des abattoirs, elle servait à lessiver les restes des animaux, les eaux usagées étaient ensuite évacuées vers le Gave de Pau. Aujourd’hui, les eaux sont canalisées par de nombreux chenaux et gouttières qui traversent l’intérieur du bâtiment, tandis que parfois on entend dans la grande galerie tambouriner la pluie sur le puits de jour.»
Le film a été réalisé à huis clos un dimanche après midi à la piscine de Billère.

The collective Ding asked Mecquenem Florence , director of BO , what for it, the genius of the place. Does Water replied. " It is housed in the gaps and cracks in the building for years. Time slaughterhouses, it was used to wash the remains of animals, waste water were then evacuated to the Gave de Pau. Today, the water is channeled by many channels and gutters that run through the building , while we sometimes hear in the great gallery drumming of rain on the day of well. "
The film was made behind closed doors on a Sunday afternoon at the pool Billère .

Nous avons demandé à Paul de Sorbier, le directeur de la Maison Salvan, ce qu'était pour lui le génie du lieu. C'est l'ombre nous a-t-il répondu. Elle se loge dans les interstices et les fissures de la maison pour nous rappeler sa mémoire.

Nous avons demandé à nos hôtes de la galerie Paradise à Nantes, Béatrice Dacher et Michel Gerson quel était pour eux le génie des lieux. Ce sont les deux architectes du bâtiment nous ont-ils répondu, Agnès et Philippe, architectes nantais de 30 ans d'expérience Barret-Lambot. Ils sont l'âme et le savoir-faire et vivre de cet édifice qui accueille les artistes en résidence et qui abrite et diffuse leurs créations au sein de la galerie au rez-de-chaussée.

We asked our hosts at the Paradise gallery in Nantes, Béatrice Dacher and Michel Gerson what the genius of the place was for them. They are the two architects of the building, they replied, Agnès and Philippe, the Barret-Lambot Nantes architects group with 30 years of experience. They are the soul and the know-how and life of this building which welcomes artists in residence and which houses and disseminates their creations within the gallery on the ground floor.
